2021 - Sept 21

The SKCF proudly donated $3000 to Indspire, an Indigenous national charity that invests in the education of First Nations, Inuit, and Metis people for the long-term benefit of these individuals, their families and communities, and Canada.

2021 - May 19

The Shayam Kaushal Charitable Foundation was thrilled to organize a drive to collect and donate $10 000 of much needed goods and food to Haven on the Queensway, a non-profit organization that has partnered with numerous community organizations to offer services that lessen the effects of poverty and homelessness, addiction and recovery, food insecurity and provide support services to women, children, and seniors.

2021 - Mar 17

SKCF made a donation of $2500 to 360 kids, an organization that offers support services such as outreach, emergency and transitional housing, counselling, employment programs, food and essential needs to youth who are vulnerable or in crisis.

2021 - Feb 10

SKCF proudly supported Daily Bread Food Bank with a $2000 donation to help them in their mission to eliminate food insecurity and advocate solutions to end poverty within our city.

2021 - Jan 13

The Shayam Kaushal Charitable Foundation was pleased to donate $2000 to Youth Without Shelter, a charity that offers shelter and support for youth facing homelessness in the GTA. Youth Without Shelter works to empower youth to find the path out of homelessness and to live responsibly and independently within our society.

2020 - Dec 2

The SKCF proudly donated $3000 to Action Against Hunger, a global humanitarian organization that is recognized as a world leader in the fight against malnutrition. Action Against Hunger takes decisive action against the causes and effects of hunger and has helped save the lives of severely malnourished children around the world.

2020 - Nov 12

The Shayam Kaushal Charitable Foundation made a $2000 donation to Lionhearts Inc., an organization that is driven by a deep desire to see that all people live with human dignity. Lionhearts works with generous businesses to collect donations of food and clothing which are then safely distributed to local organizations who work with disenfranchised people within the community.

2020 - Oct 2

SKCF proudly made a donation of $20,000 in support of Pathways to Education. This national, charitable organization breaks the cycle of poverty through education. Its award-winning program is creating positive social change by supporting youth living in low-income communities to overcome barriers to education, graduate from high school, and build the foundation for a successful future. In total, over 18,000 students across Canada have received support from Pathways to Education. The Shayam Kaushal Charitable Foundation designated our donation to the Regent Park location in Toronto. Our support will ensure that Pathways students continue to receive the tools and resources needed to strengthen their skills and achieve success.

2020 - Sept 21

The Shayam Kaushal Charitable Foundation supported Water First Education and Training with a donation of $2000. More than 2 in 5 First Nations in Ontario are living under a boil water advisory. Water First Education and Training is committed to addressing water challenges in Indigenous communities through education, training, and meaningful collaboration.

The SKCF proudly donated $1500 to Yellow Brick House, an organization committed to saving lives and giving safety to vulnerable women and children escaping violence.

2020 - Aug 18

The Shayam Kaushal Charitable Foundation made a $1500 donation in support of CAMH Foundation. CAMH is one of the world’s leading research centers for mental health and is committed to shattering the stigma surrounding mental illness.

The Shayam Kaushal Charitable Foundation was delighted to donate $1500 to Canadian Feed the Children to help build stronger, healthier lives for children and their families struggling with poverty.

2020 - Jun 9

The Shayam Kaushal Charitable Foundation proudly supported Food Banks Canada with a donation of $1500. This national charitable organization is dedicated to helping Canadians living with food insecurity.

2018 - Jan 18

The Shayam Kaushal Charitable Foundation proudly donated $25,000 to the SickKids Foundation Ghana initiative. Funds were used to train pediatric nurses in Ghana to improve the under-5 mortality rate amongst children. Far too many lives are lost due to preventable diseases and a lack of specialized care.

2017 - Nov 1

The Shayam Kaushal Charitable Foundation was thrilled to donate $2,500 to the Hospital for Sick Children Rally for Kids with Cancer 2017. This initiative helps to support cancer care at SickKids.

2017 - Sept 7

The Shayam Kaushal Charitable Foundation proudly donated $1,500 to the Toronto Artillery Foundation in support of the 7th Toronto Regiment.

2017 - Feb 2

The Shayam Kaushal Charitable Foundation was pleased to support the SickKids Hospital Music Therapy Program with a donation of $1,500. This program uses music within therapeutic relationships to support development, health and well-being.

2016 – Sept 19

The Shayam Kaushal Charitable Foundation donated $2,500 to the Toronto Artillery Foundation - Lest We Forget. It was a fundraiser in support of the 7th Toronto Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery, a primary reserve regiment of the Canadian Army and the Toronto Artillery Foundation.

2016 – May 31

The Shayam Kaushal Charitable Foundation was happy to contribute $5,000 to Canada's Walk of Fame, a charity whose mission is to celebrate Canadians who have excelled in their respective fields, and to inspire the next generation.

2016 – Mar 28

The Shayam Kaushal Charitable Foundation was pleased to donate $5,000 to Lakshmi Narayan Mandir to renovate and modify the temple and accommodate the facilities for people with special needs.

2015- Aug 23

The Shayam Kaushal Charitable Foundation proudly donated $50,000 to The War Amps CHAMP program in support of replacement recreational limbs for child amputees.

2015- Apr 1

SKCF was pleased to support the 2015 Walk for ALS with a $1000 donation. The funds were used to provide equipment, support services, education for the ALS Community, and fund research to find a cure.

2015- Mar 23

SKCF was honoured to contribute $25,000 to Mackenzie Health to refurbish a palliative care room and kitchen in the hospital. This money will be used to help provide a reassuring and comforting environment for patients and their families going through this difficult time.

2015- Mar 17

SKCF was delighted to fund a $5000 Youth Education Award through the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada for people who have recovered from a brain tumour and wish to seek post secondary education.

2015- Feb 23

SKCF was happy to once again support the Mackenzie Health Volunteer Association. $1500 was donated to help raise money for the fetal monitoring program at Mackenzie Health.

2015- Feb 18

SKCF was thrilled to award a $1500 scholarship to a young man suffering from ASD. This scholarship assisted him with his tuition at the University of Guelph.

2014- Oct 19

Team SKCF proudly participated in our fourth annual Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon. Under the leadership of Martin Reid, President of Home Trust and Kiran Kaushal, an amazing $30,000 was raised for the Shayam Kaushal Charitable Foundation.

2014- Sept 17

Once again this year, SKCF supported the Tom Trenouth Home Trust Golf Tournament and donated $1500 towards mental health.

2014- Apr 12

SKCF was proud to donate $5000 to the Mackenzie Health Volunteer Organization in support of a new MRI machine for the hospital.

2013 - Oct 20

Under the leadership of Kiran Kaushal and Martin Reid, President of Home Trust, an astounding $50,000 was raised when Team SKCF participated in the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon for the third year in a row.

2013- Sept 25

Through the Tom Trenouth Home Trust Golf Tournament, SKCF was pleased to donate $5000 to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada.

2013- June 9

SKCF supported Hockey Day in Thornhill and Jumpstart Canada with a $2500 donation. Jumpstart is an organization that removes barriers, allowing kids the chance to participate in sporting activities.

The SKCF was thrilled to bestow $15,500 to Giant Steps Toronto/York Region to fund the creation of the Shayam Kaushal Charitable Foundation Life Skills Room. This was created to assist kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The SKCF proudly donated $2500 to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

2012- Oct 14

Team SKCF participated in the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon. $25,000 was raised for SKCF under the leadership of Martin Reid, president of Home Trust.

Members of the SKCF committee attended We Day at the Air Canada Center with 20,000 inspired guests.

Team SKCF participated in the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon. Through the initiative of Mr. Martin Reid, President of Home Trust, over $11,000 was raised from this event.
